Kitchen Renovation

ABOUT THE PROJECT

It was time for a major makeover for this out-of-date kitchen! The client's were seeking a more usable space for their family to be together and entertain with an improved layout, increased storage, modernized finishings and hoped for better flow between the tight fridge and peninsula area. We were able to update the space with a fresh new look while honouring their 1950's heritage-style home!

WHAT WE DID

Spaces by Eva sourced a team of skilled professionals (electrical, plumbing, flooring & tile installation) and curated a detailed design plan for this major kitchen renovation. Once the existing kitchen was removed, Eva prepped and painted the walls using a high-wearing, low lustre matte paint to camouflage the wall imperfections typical in an older home. From selecting the style and configuration of the new cabinets, countertop materials, fixtures, lighting, paint colors, appliances, flooring & backsplash solutions, Eva facilitated in coordinating all installations alongside her team of talented vendors. One of the most noticeable improvements was increased flow between the fridge and peninsula. By recessing the fridge into the adjoining spare bedroom wall, we gained 2ft of walk-through space. Huge improvement!
