Corporate Renovation
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The newly shared corporate space of Leemar Excavator Components, Dynamic Hydraulics and Macon Industries was in need of a fresh new look to better align with their reformed marketing and branding strategies. They were also seeking functionality improvements for the office furniture layout to better accomodate the company’s forecasted growth.
WHAT WE DID
During the initial consult, a west coast, industry-related vibe emerged as a leading concept. Eva created several mood boards to showcase the project’s inspiration, style and aesthetic before diving into the planning and implementation process.
To create more privacy, several interior office windows were removed and the openings re-drywalled and a wide band of window etch film was applied to remaining windows; acting as a privacy screen while still allowing for light and visibility. Warm grey paint tones were chosen for the walls, darker greys for the built-in cabinets, and a bold black for all interior doors, hardware and accents. The dated, dark orange ceiling detail was painted white which instantly made the space feel more expansive and bright.
Wood elements were introduced in the Reception area, including a feature wall and a custom-made, live-edge countertop for the desk. The addition of two new pendant lights cast the entry with just the right amount of ambient light, giving a warm and welcoming feeling to customers entering into the building.
An inefficient coffee station area was completely revamped with spacious new cabinets for much-needed storage and an easy to clean live edge wood countertop to accomodate beverages, condiments and snacks for coworkers and visiting customers.
To personalize the office walls, Eva curated a collection of corporate photographs and west coast themed art pieces. Artificial plants were integrated into the workspace design to serve as decor pieces and also add an overall inspiring touch of green to make the area more inviting and productive.
Eva managed the renovation project from start to finish, liaising logistics and time frame with trades and clients to minimize disruptions during business hours. The end result was a re-energized and modernized corporate space that transcends time and trend and that staff and customers love!
